Just when Tsubakis soul is about to be absorbed by Masamune, Black Stars voice reaches her, and she gains the will to defeat her brother, absorbing her very first soul in the process. Masamunes soul also grants Tsubaki the power to transform into the Enchanted Sword, though its power is too much for Black Star to handle.
